A portrait of a young Japanese poet, Peach Blossom was done using traditional Nihonga methods (Japanese rock painting), all pigments were handmade. For this portrait flat forms (traditional to Nihonga ) and forms with three-dimensionality (traditional to western painting) are blended  together.
